Falling Leaves Glove-Lets
Materials
Eva 4 ply yarn from Posh Yarns 55g, 200yds
Needles
3.25mm double pointed needles (Size 3 US)
Tension
6 sts and 8 rows to 1 inch in stocking stitch knitted with 3.25mm needles in the round

Rounds
1. P1, k3, k2tog, k1, yo, p2, yo, k1, ssk, k3, p1
2. P1, k6, p2, k6, p1
3. P1, k2, k2tog, k1, yf, k1, p2, k1, yo, k1, ssk, k2, p1
4. As round 2
5. P1, k1, k2tog, k1, yo, k2, p2, k2, yo, k1, ssk, k1, p1
6. As round 2
7. P1, k2tog, k1, yo, k3, p2, k3, yo, k1, ssk, p1
8. As round 2
Rounds 1 to 8 form the pattern
On 3.25mm double pointed needles cast on 46 stitches.
Purl 1 row as if knitting flat, join to form circle on next row
K1, p1 rib and join
Rib for 7 rounds
Knit for 2 rounds
Next round, P2 sts, then follow Round 1 of the lace panel, P2 sts
Continue to set lace panel with the P2 sts either side of the pattern
After 2 full lace patterns, work a further 2 rounds; K3 sts then divide for thumb
Knit the next 9 sts on waste yarn, slip those 9 sts back onto the right hand needle and knit them again using the main yarn
(NOTE Start thumb divide 12 stitches before lace pattern on 3rd round for the Left hand glove~let)
Follow the pattern as before and continue
Work 6 full lace patterns in total
K1, pl rib for 6 rounds
Next round: K4, k2tog, continue with K4, k2tog until end of round
Cast off knitwise
Thumb
Carefully unpick the waste yarn and pick up the 9 sts above and below the waste yarn
Join in working yarn and three needles knit up first 9 sts, pick up 3 sts, knit up next 9 sts, pick up 3 sts
Rounds
1. Join into a loop and knit 1 round
2. Dec 1 at beginning of this round
3. K 1 round
4. Dec 1 at beginning of this round
5. K1 round
6. Dec 1 at beginning of this round
7. Knit a further 7 rounds, making 13 in total
Cast off knit wise
Sew in the ends of threads
